1999 G16 gas cart clutch puller
do they make 2 different clutch pullers for these carts, do they make a fine thread and coarse thread puller?? we tried our regular puller but the threads would not work!!

I'm pretty sure I used my "Yamaha style" clutch puller on G1, G2, G9, G16 primary clutches. Believe it fits everything but the newest models. Maybe you have some rust in the threads on the crank? Might need to get a tap and clean it up, that's the only way I've had luck with rusty threads. Use lots of spray lube as you go to clean out the threads.

Also be sure you have the factory clutch. The comet style clutch takes a different puller.
