Is that a 301cc or a 357cc? If they are the same family engine I think they might interchange. I don't recall if the G14 and G16 are the same engine family. They might be.

I think the person to contact would be Don Plowman at Plowman's Carts. He's the resident Yamaha specialist. CP241 might also know.

I don’t think it would be a direct nor easy swap. I always get the g14 mixed up but I’m pretty sure the g16 is the newer style engine.

Search around, I can’t remember if it was raydhd or cgtech but one of them had done the swap and I believe they said they’d never do it again

G14 & G16 are different engine designs, more than just a displacement difference.

I figured you'd know. I can't remember what the G14 is either, it's kind of a "in between" model right? I'm just not familiar.

A G14 looks like a G16. 2yrs only. 300cc engine, with air intake behind your legs. Not like the 285cc or 301cc. Battery and gas tank are opposite from the G16. Early ones had the G9 rear, later ones had the G16 Dana rear.

G14 and G16 electrics are the same.
