Charger
I have my Delta Q charger and was wondering if anybody had a manual for them? It has the 80% and Full % listed but what does the ~ line below them mean on the charger?
I know it's charging but just wanted to know what the symbol means. Thanks Guy's |

Re: Charger
You would think the batteries would show Fully Charged at this voltage? I have no light though indicating fully charged.

Re: Charger
Well it's finally at 80% now. I guess I need to watch it closer. I thought it was full when I took it off the last time. Not!
88.2 seems a little high but I guess it's OK. The batteries are just now starting to smell. |

Re: Charger
six 12v? 88 divided by 6 = 14.66 volts that should be gassing them, I would not want to see it get much higher. I'm sure you have the correct algorithm in the charger for the batteries in the cart ?

Re: Charger
Not sure. I called Delta q a few weeks ago and he said set it on #5. That's where I have it. I plan to call them Monday and see if there is a better setting.

Re: Charger
I would be leery if it goes up any more in voltage. The fact that you can smell the batts means they are gassing.

Re: Charger
Yea, They have come down and its riding at 83.9 volts now. I think it's set for 12 volt batteries according to my paper work I have. I'll see what they tell me Monday.

Re: Charger
Called Delta Q today and talked to a very nice guy. He gave me a generic code 11 for 8 volt batteries in a 72 volt system. The charger worked just like it should. It's at 100% with green solid light now!
