Yeah, it was a little cool out today, but nice enough to work outside. My helper and I got it tore down in about an hour, even after having to break off a couple of rusty bolts.

Your helper is saying in the first picture "Ok, its out of the trailer... Why aren't we going for a ride?"

I had a yellow Lab for years that helped me too, although I think she only hung around for the test rides!

The hardest thing I've ever done was putting her down due to cancer. I actually sold her favorite car a year later because I just couldn't drive it anymore.

It's funny how much they love to ride. My dad has a border collie and I have a lab (Molly) and they both love it. When I put a cart (or my dad's Mule) in reverse, they will run from the house to the shop just to get to ride back to the house. They hardly ever miss a ride. That is, if they aren't IN the shop 'helping'. Here is a pic of Molly (same dog as above) when she was a couple of months old helping me in the shop on another project:

More parts and pieces have come in/arrived. Now if only this crazy weather will cooperate. We woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning! It is not supposed to snow in MISSISSIPPI!! Anyway, my batteries came in as well as my cables and my lights should be here tomorrow or Saturday. If only I can get some decent weather to get some progress made.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, they are going in this cart. Yes, it is a little ugly now, but I hope to make it a really nice neighborhood cruizer or golf cart (did I just say that I was building a cart for GOLF?!?!?)
