Here's what we got.
Cart ran fine.
Noticed one 8v battery in the pack. Replaced with good 6v battery.
Cart won't run.

Has to be one of a couple of things.
New battery installed backwards. It happens.
Not all the wires reconnected properly. Most likely answer.
Controller fried, least likely answer.

My guess is the solenoid does not click when you press the gas. Is that right?
The reed switch may be bad ?

Batteries are all in order I only removed one battery and it is in correctly. No click at solenoid. I can hear the micro switch on the peddle still clicking. I have also tried to get a fault code but I get no beeps. Had to put a buzzer on it but won't buzz in reverse. I did the testing you asked and when I pushed the oeddle down I did not get any change in voltage at the controller.

do a search on bi-passing the reed switch. lots of info on it.. I had to do this to my cart. Then I Installed a 10 amp inline fuse on it..it is really simple to do.. It has worked very well for me. It is to my understanding the reed switch keeps you from being able to drive the cart with the charger hooked up to it/ plugged in...hope this helps..

here... I got this from another thread for you...

the bypass wire goes from the microswitch directly to battery 1's positive terminal...when all is done, you will have the black wire from charger port to battery 6's negative post. White wire from charger port goes to battery 1's positive. Then you will ignore the red wire (reed switch wire) and jump from microswitch to postive terminal of battery 1.

If this cart is a PDS it will not have the micro subby44 is talking about. If you check the voltage at the red wire coming from the charger port and the negative on the pack it should be the same voltage as the pack itself. If not, the reed switch failed.

Does the solenoid click when you try to go?
If not the controller has no power...
If yes you may want to check the controller output.
