Default what is best way to get to 48 volt? 6 8 volt or 6 8volt?

Someone has pretty new batteries for an electric car project- he has 6 8 volt batteries-

I have 8 6 volt in my cart- which would give best run time?

thanks Guys

It depends on the AH rating of the batteries, but it is normally accepted that you'll get a longer runtime with 8 6v batts......

Best run-time 48V packs are at the top of list.

In general terms, 48V packs made from 6V batteries have greater run-time than 48V packs made from 8V batteries, but there is some overlap.

Trojan has four grades of 8V batteries. 150AH, 170AH, 190AH and 204AH.
