Too much acceleration isn't a typical problem.

If it is a stock 2011 controller, I believe you need a handheld programmer to change the mode the controller runs in. Some modes have more acceleration than others.

If it is an aftermarket controller, you might be able to connect a laptop and program it yourself.

Use less pressure on the little peddle on the right!

I've been away for a few days. If your controller doesn't have adjustments, try punching the gas while holding the brake. I'm assuming wheel spin is your problem?

The controller is quite flexible for acceleration settings, but a curtis handheld programmer is needed to do it. All ez-go dealers have one (txt and rxv use the same one). Many other dealers may have one too, the curtis controllers and handheld are used on MANY other carts.
