In addition to proper break-in procedures you mentioned you will be using US Batteries. That manufacture has special charge requirements. What charger are you using for the 48v conversion?

DPI, I have already changed the setting for US from Trojan.

Here is a SoC Chart for US Battery batteries. The difference between it an the Trojan charts more commonly posted is mostly the voltage above 90% SoC, below 90% they are nearly the same.
My DPI charger is plugged into my cart when it isn't moving, unless I know I'll be making several short trips that day, then it is plugged in at the end of the day. BTW: Your DPI charger will float charge your batteries at 53.07V, or thereabouts. |
