I checked the green & yellow wires from the controller, key on & in forward (of course) nothing, no reading at rest or full.

Okay. then something isn't hooked up somewhere. There are three wires coming out of the 3 pin connector on the MCOR4 that control the throttle.

Yellow: Runs directly to pin #3 on the controller
Purple: Runs directly to the B- negative terminal of the controller
White: Runs directly to the 3rd Micro switch behind the F&R switch. It plugs into the old potbox adapter and becomes a black wire. The black wire then runs to a half-speed resistor and turns into a Y and splits into a black and white wire where it plugs into the micro switch. The black side uses the resistor where the white wire does not. The green wire on top of this micro switch runs directly to the #2 pin on the controller. So with the F&R switch in the forward position, you should have no resistance from the white wire on the MCOR to the green wire at the controller pin #2.

Check all three of these wires for continuity and pay close attention to the pins on the MCOR 4 where you plugged the adapters in. They are small and easy to misalign. If they're misaligned they wont work.

I just did a conversion on a 95. The kit was for a 96 or newer. Mine looked like the pictures above. I had a donor cart so I got the correct pedal and brake cam fro that one. The wiring of course did not match and with time I straightened it out. NOW I find the new moor is a 5000-0 ohm and I need a 0-5000. Does anyone know if there is a moor that will bolt in and have the correct readings? Yes, it goes fast out of the block and slows down the more you push the pedal and the ohms reading is as described.

Use the Yellow and Purple wires from the MCOR to get a low->high range out of the MCOR.

It will not start a 0Ω since the MCOR has resistance on the wiper track, so it starts at about 100Ω for MCOR4 and 1,000Ω for the older MCORs.

I know this is an old thread, but the info is good and I know that I will be referring back to it so I'm gonna post here!

I also have the AM293101 but need to be able to hook up the go pedal properly (I already had the AM293101 before I saw this, and now know that I should have the AM293201). I am hoping (Dave?) that I can get the parts that I am missing to make this work properly.
Pic attached is what I have with the pigtail.

Thank you!!!

Yes, Send me an email and I'll discuss it with you there. I'll just take the AM293101 parts out of an AM293201 kit and charge you the difference in price.
