Default Disc Brakes

I just finished installing front hydraulic disc brakes. When setting the parking brake it also pressurizes the hydraulic cylinder. My questions is will there any long term ill effects because it is always energized whenever I'm not driving my car.

The pressure when parked is not max pressure the system can deliver. It’s akin to putting a 5 year old on a horse and wondering if the horse is over worked.

I've had my front disc on for 8 years. I've never had a problem with it.
