Default New Alltrax Xct 300 in 08 precedent blowing 15a fuse

Hey everyone. I just got a new Alltrax 300 for my 08 club car precedent and it’s hookup went as expected. Thanks Scotty B by the way! Anyway, when I turn the switch run and turn the key, the blue 15a fuse under the seat blows instantly. I know my batteries are a little low because I get 48.0V across the terminals. I get that same 48 at the fuse block. I got the cart assuming the controller was bad, now do I also have a bad solenoid? What makes the 15a blow? I also have a new lighting kit coming Wednesday because the current light pigtail was cut in the past by someone. Please help.

The blue 15 amp fuse under your seat is for your light kit. It has absolutely nothing to do with your Alltrax installation. Check your wiring on your controller and make sure you hooked it up correctly. The light kit negatives tie into the controller terminals. If you've got something hooked up wrong it could definitely cause this issue.

As you were typing this I checked the dash wiring. The PO had hooked up the ignition Wong...ignition spades were hooked to light switch wires. I fixed that, but now I get nothing when I turn the key...no click no movement.

Do you get a green status light on the controller? If not, check the main power fuse. It's in a black Delphi fuse holder near the solenoid.

Lost my light with the sunset...I’ll check later tonight in the garage or tomorrow. Thanks for the record, I do not see a green light.

The green light on the controller illuminates when the controller is receiving power. If it's not receiving power, it won't turn on. I'd be willing to bet the primary fuse is blown.

Now I’m curious what the PO did. The Delphi fuse block was where the 15 amp fuse was blowing when the wires were crossed before. What size fuse should be there? The cart doesn’t have lights, no blue wires from the last battery to the main harness. That same new 15a fuse is now not blowing when I turn things on. I’m pretty confident in how I wired up the controller per the instructions.
