I was told Redhawk was a good brand from reputable sponsor, much better and more expensive than the ones I could have purchased from ebay.

I disconnected the bullet connector and attached leads to it and pack positive. Got reading of 51.4 Volts. I cant reach to the 3-pin connector under the cart. Maybe could rig a longer wire to do so. Can try tomorrow and get back. Thanks for your time on this!!! Is there any continuity tests I should be doing to determine if there is a disconnect somewhere?

Think I'll ever get it right?

It is supposed to be "plug and play" so the colors are not really important until it does not work and you are trying to troubleshoot.

Whatever wire is plugged to that bullet connector should go to the Yellow wire on the 3-pin connector at the converter.

You can do a continuity test from the yellow wire to the end you are plugging to that bullet connector.

Wont be able to run more checks for a couple hours, but wondering:
Cart is in tow position. Should it have been in run position for the tests?
Since we are working on 12 volt problem, can I still charge batteries with current hookup?
Also, should the backup buzzer work if cart turned on, and switch put in reverse?
Should cart be able to more forward? [Have not tried]
Back later.

Key switch ON or OFF is only relevant if the Tow/Run switch is on Run since the Key switch gets its power from the Tow/Run switch.

The Converter will not work with the cart in Tow since you cannot provide the switched +48v "trigger" signal.

However, the constant +48v will always be present since you have that blue wire connected directly to the pack positive battery post.

Make sure if there is a fuse on that connection to the pack positive that the fuse is OK.

The buzzer will only work when the FNR is on Reverse and the Tow/Run is on Run and the charger is not plugged in.

I took a small screwdriver with fine sandpaper and lightly reamed out the 12 ga wire connector. Got the 48V readings as you described with the switch on and off.
Reconnected the reducer.
S-U-C-C-E-S-S!!
Currently all is working. I will now start the process of putting on all of the cable ties, retesting occasionally, and putting it back together. Not sure exactly what all may have been wrong, but for sure in the future, tell the folks to make SURE the 12 ga. connector is clean and you have a good connection. Likely through the years, dirt/mud/bees have caused it to clog.

Sergio, Thank you for your help and perseverance. I will let you know what all is back together.
