Default resistor mounting board

As I'm putting all the new wires on this old DS cart I find it different from the diagram in the sticky. so I look at the picture that I took before taking it apart.
The diagram in the sticky shows 6 wires, from the drivers side it shows
white
orange
yellow
green
blue
black/then white to the A-2 on the motor

My picture shows
white
red
orange
yellow
green
blue
black/white going to the motor

Why does this cart have the 7th wire being the red wire
All wires are coming from the v-glide

I don't know why yours has a red cable, my 1999 DS resistor cart is wired just like the diagram. What year is your cart? Here's a picture of my resistor board, the gray cable goes to A2 on the motor.

I don't know what year it is, all numbers have been taken off.
it even has one more resistor coil.
every other wire is the same as the diagram. I;m going to finish putting it back together with the red wire in place and see what happens.
The brown wire and the purple wire going to a1 and s1 on the motor were a different color then whats on the diagram. The lugs on the motor are all in a line rather then side by side. I'm changing it like the diagram.

It looks like the third and fourth resistors are the same.

If CTD (Crash Test Dummy) sees this he may have an idea or a drawing. He has a lot of old hard to get stuff from yester-year...

I believe this explains why it has the extra cable from the V-glide?
The colors don't matter as long as they go to the correct location.
If it ran before then if you wire it as your pictures show it should run again!

A Big thank you for the help. The cart runs great. but you can tell something in the rear end has a lot of miles on it.

what I did to this cart was take out all the big cables and make new 4 ga. cables
install a new solenoid, forward reverse switch,
install a new brush on the wiper in the v-glide along with a new v-glide body with new bushings
clean it all up and give it back to the guy that did the drywall work in my wifes new kitchen
