The aux walk-away relay sends power to the Controller B+ side of the Solenoid, activating the main solenoid does the same thing.

You said you replaced the walk-away relay but did You check the wires on the relay?

Does the relay have power on one side of the contacts when the key switch is OFF?

If not, either the breaker or the sonic-weld has failed.

When the key switch is OFF and you push the cart, do you get power 48v on the relay coil activation wires?

If not, which one is missing positive or negative?

Hey Sergio,
Sorry for the delay in answering your questions. Work got in the way. Here is what I have? The relay has 50 volts on the brown wire from the controller with the switch on or off. The Yellow activation wire has 12.5 key on or off.the pink controller wire and green and white wire have -0- volts with the key on or off. That changes when you activate the solenoid.
Your question about the relay activation wires having power when I push the cart with the key off. The yellow solenoid wire jumps to 45.5 volts. But no breaking or beeping. If I activate the solenoid and push it it jumps to 47.5 and will break and beep. But as soon as the solenoid kicks out no beep or breaking??

I assume you don't feel the relay "click".

The Pin #23 Green/White wire should complete the connection to negative when You push the cart with the key OFF.

You need to test that terminal on the Relay with the meter positive probe on pack positive and the meter negative probe on the Green/White wire.

When you push the cart, You should read pack voltage on the meter.

If that is OK, check the continuity from the relay Pink wire to Controller pin #9.

If You have continuity, then the Controller is not providing the positive side to the Relay through the pink wire.

You can try putting a jumper from the Relay Tan wire (power from the breaker) to the Relay Pink wire (power to the relay coil).

If the Green/White wire is completing the connection to negative, then the relay will click and power the controller B+.

I want to make sure what reference you are using for the voltages as You previously said (post #12) the Green/White had 0v.

If that wire has voltage when measured from pack positive then the Relay should be on all the time.

In post #12 I didn't realize the green and white wire was a negative wire. So I tested it from the pack pos and I have 47.5 volts. And still have the fault code. I have never heard the relay click?

If You disconnect the 2 smaller 3/16" quick connectors from that small 48v relay, the Pink wire should have pack voltage and the Green/White wire should have negative (0v).

If that is the case the relay should click as soon as you connect them to the relay.

If You don't feel the relay clicking it is likely bad but you can measure the resistance of the relay coil to make sure.

Well I think my issue is I don't have 48v on the pink wire at any time, key off, key on solenoid engaged....

Since the Tan (brown) wire has +48v, the jumper You placed from Tan to Pink should have provided the missing activation signal.

Sergio,
Thanks a bunch for sticking with me on this. I jumped the brown to the pink to get the 48v needed. Works perfect now. Iv'e been in construction all my life and just learning a little about golf cart repair. This site and the members here are awesome. Thanks again.
