Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
Yes throttle has been smoothed out since I put in new MCOR, but it still won't break 27/28 on flat ground. I really think this thing should be doing at least 30?? What setting can I tweak to get the few extra mph?
I don't need to go for broke but when we take it to Publix it would be nice to keep up with the cars on a small stretch of 35mph road.. |

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
If the monitor shows the motor is up against the rpm limit you could increase the limit at your own risk.
Have you saved & shared the monitor files? |

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
According to the speed calculator here on this site, with an 18" tall (stock) tire, 12.3:1 factory gears, and 6000 RPM, you should be running 26.1 MPH. As Scottyb said, you can increase the maximum RPM at your own risk, but FSIP wants these motors limited to 6000 RPM to keep them from flying apart. To safely get more speed without overrevving the motor, I recommend a high speed gear set or a taller tire.

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
Well, on 22 mathematically it should be faster but, there are many factors that shave a bit off of the mathematical equation. I took the rpm limit off for a run on my initial evaluation of the motor and hit 32.5 mph on 18s. Nearly 7500 rpms. Not suggesting it but I think you could push it a small bit past 6000 if - if you are willing to take full responsibility for your actions.

Re: Alltrax Settings FSIP Motor 2016 CC Precedent
Ok I looked at the calculations again and it appears I am in the range albeit the low end of what I should be going. Right now the max rpm is 6000 but when looking at the monitor file I didn't see anything above 5800, I am will to take the risk to push it up a little should I try 6200 next?
