Default 1995 Club car DS

Hey guys!

Just wondering. I have a 1995 Club car that runs pretty good! I was wondering how would I know if it has a speed Magnet? It doesn't give me resistance downhills but I'm not sure if a 1995 ever did as no one else in the park has one.

Can I even get a speed Magnet for this year cart?

Thanks Everyone!

No sir, they are for IQ carts (sepex style). Your '95 would be a Series or Regen1.

No magnets on a cart that old.
But depending on what you have, it may not be terribly difficult to get some extra speed out of it.
Is yours 36v or 48v?

It's a 48 Volt!

I read a lot on this forum. I know a better controller or a new motor like a plum quick will help, it's just not possible right. When I look at my bank account to see what I can get, it tells me I can get a second job. :P
