Onward body on Precedent?
Had anybody been able to get their hands on a onward body to see if it will fit on a precedent. I love the look but I understand that it's basically a precedent underneath.

dang i have proof of ownership, but wont have proof of damage. You think it will always be that way? I mean they are getting to be a lot of onwards out there now...

What NoleFan said "Yes it will, BUT you can not get any parts from Club Car. They are locked down and can only be procured with photos of damaged parts on yours along with serial number and proof of ownership" needed three more words for clarity - of an ONWARD'

Makes total sense because the two designs are so similar. There are tons of these in my club now everyone is trading in their precedent for one. I can't tell the difference between the onward and the precedent except for the front body. If they sold the bodies separately I bet their sales would go way down everyone would just buy the new front body and forget the new $8K plus cart.

Unlike the Onward, the funny thing is, the Tempo needs a new front underneath. That being said I think the main reason for it is the Club Car headlights mount to it, not the body. If you used Rhox headlights, they mount to the body and you could probably notch out the existing cowl for clearance. |
