Alltrax programming connection
As I removed the programming cable and port from my 05 DS IQ as part of the Alltrax controller installation it occurred to me that I could replace the receptacle for the IQDM handset cord with a USB receptacle. Here is what I ended up with.

Re: Alltrax programming connection
Is that for charging your phone or programming the controller? Wouldn’t programming the controller require a male USB connection?

Re: Alltrax programming connection
It is for programming the controller. I installed a USB cable from the back side of the connector to the Alltrax J3 port. All I have to do is plug in a double male USB cable from my laptop to this port and program away! Since I have a cargo box on the rear it is much easier than having to plug in a cable to the J3 port from beneath the cart.
