Unhappy 06 Club Car Precedent won’t move

Purchased this summer and replaced batteries as they were 6 yrs old and lacked power. I had noticed hesitation in pedal but thought it was batteries.
After 48V batteries replaced the pedal response got more hesitant and wouldn’t even go at times. I performed a test on the MCOR 2 by jumping the green and blue wires. It backed up so I ordered a replacement and put it in Saturday. It performed well that evening but at times wouldn’t go forward or reverse. Now it will not move forward or reverse at all. Can a new MCOR from China go bad right out of the box?

Are there other tests I should perform to rule out key switch or
Forward/Reverse switch?

Do you hear the reverse buzzer when the FNR is on Reverse?

If You have power at the key switch or Solenoid small post light blue wire, You may have an issue with the OBC.

You can unplug the OBC 6-pin connector and jump the Blue and the White wires on the harness side 6-pin connector.

Use a large paper clip or stiff wire, make sure to place electrical tape around it so not to short.

if the cart works normally you will need a permanent OBC by-pass and a new smart charger .

Question Re: 06 Club Car Precedent won’t move

Before I was able to check the solenoid tonight I checked these items.

Jumped the two wires in the MCOR that I put in over the weekend and the cart would not move. The reverse buzzer did work tonight though.

I checked continuity on the key switch and it was good, the FNR switch also checked good for continuity.

The for 12V batteries checked from 12.8 to 12.73.

When I removed the compartment over the controller etc. I found what the pictures show to be a lot of corrosion. The batteries I exchanged out last month had a lot of corrosion as well.

My question is, can I just scrape the corrosion at the bottom of the board off or should I be careful of something when removing it. Also, could this be causing my problem and what would likely be affected?

To complete this conversation it was ultimately the OBC.
Replaced now and looking forward to using it without any further issues.

The next week had the same “no go” situation.
Shop replaced FNR switch and brought back.
When it didn’t move again for “me” the shop tech came out to meet me.
He couldn’t get it to move either thankfully. But after moving the key back and forth in the switch it moved fine.
Took key switch out and noticed not making connection all the time.
Now with a new key switch in place all is finally working and responsive when you expect it to be.
