2005 Precedent, No Dynamic Braking ??
I rode my Mom's Electric Club Car (2005) yesterday and when I let off the accelerator it just keeps going. My Club Car (2013) slows down when you let off the accelerator. Where can I find some troubleshooting steps to figure out what is wrong with the Cart? Not sure if Dynamic Braking is the correct term. Does the 2005 have Regeneration feature? Hers is a PQ0523. Mine is a PH1339. Mike

Re: 2005 Precedent, No Dynamic Braking ??
It probably has a speed magnet, meaning it can go faster than 15mph and it does not have Speed 4 installed (If it does there would be a sticker with 3 sets of 3 digit/letter codes).
Speed magnets don't work on your Excell cart with the PH serial number. |
