Default how to remove a stuck motor

trying to remove to get rebuilt motor from club car precedent
all bolts and wiring undone .motor will spin but wont slide off trans output shaft

David from Revolution had this to share as I had the same problem. Genius! First drop and motor came right off. Remember to turn your right hub inside out(the side you’ll be dropping it on), this will protect the 4 wheel bolts as you drop the axle

Yep, that’s the way to do it. Requires a lot of work but nothing else works sometimes!

I got a couple off with by using ratchet straps.....

Place a ratchet strap around the motor but don't tighten it yet. Loop another ratchet strap under the ratchet strap you just put on motor (loop it under two sides of the motor). Tighten the ratchet strap on the motor as tight as you can possibly make it. Connect another ratchet strap to the one(s) under the motor the motor and try to ratchet the motor off.

I have this work a couple of times but not a couple of others. It's pretty easy and worth a try, though.
