Re: Club car won't re-accelerate
I think golf gods inadvertantly helped me out today. I tested controller by checking m minus terminal and with the solenoid clicking I couldn't get a reading of even 15. I then clicked solenoid about 20 more times and I got a reading finally of 48. So solenoid clicks but voltage varies. I hope that makes it easy for all to answer. Thanks

Re: Club car won't re-accelerate
Solenoid is a switch, sounds like burnt contacts. Replace with correct golf cart solenoid and you should be good. Some people try using 12 volt solenoids from auto parts store. Not cool.

Re: Club car won't re-accelerate
My solenoids are always the cheapest 48 v I can find. I've bought so many over the years my nickname is solenoid. If controller is 400 and I have a plum quick bandit motor am I definitely at "heavy duty". Thank you so much for helping and have a great Friday.

Re: Club car won't re-accelerate
Is there any way I can test it? I do have a temporary wire connecting big posts ( just trying s***) but left solenoid completely hooked up normal like when she ran. I just added the jumper line on top of old wires on posts.
Thank you very much. PS it had no effect but I'm not sure I was doing it right. Tx |

Re: Club car won't re-accelerate
When did heavy duty solenoids switch to under $10 over light duty?
Thanks |
