Charge meter not playing with DC Converter
I have a 2001 Club Car DS 48V with a RHOX Charge meter. It has been working just fine until today when I connected up a Reliance 1230 DC Converter (48V to 12V). Once that was connected, the charge meter would show all the bars dimly lit with the key off. What I found was that the Reliance DC converter was sending something like 24V down the green wire for switched input to the dead side of the on/off switch. This in turn caused the charge meter to partial light up with the key off through the connection on pin 4 to the switch. So I am trying to figure out if that is normal for these DC Converters and I need to find another charge meter or do I have a faulty DC Converter?
Thanks in advance for any help on this. |

Re: Charge meter not playing with DC Converter
Well not sure what changed but I checked the system this morning and it is working as I would expect it to. So chalk it up to working to late and in the dark.
