Default wont start.

my 1990 G2a ,well,like i said,a work in progress.got a muffler welded & back on and cart wouldn't start.ran 4 a little then died forever.cleaned battery cables and r&r battery.still nothing. jumped across solenoid .engine cranked but would not start.oh yeah.replaced one of the Buss fuses(2)that was blown.i have reached my level of incompetence. please anybody help?

It will crank, just not start? I would start with all the basics first: fuel, air, and spark. You said you replaced a fuse that was blown. Is there any accessory (lights, etc), that are grounded to the frame of your cart? All accessories should be grounded to the neg. post of the battery.

no accessory anything. there was a problem when i got it. disconnected everything but necessary until i get a chance. thanks 4 the reply.its dead.no nothing.turn key on,step on accelerator,nothing at all.

Just a thought, check the switch under the gas pedal.

If you jump solenoid and it worked,
Check:
Igintion switch and wires
switch at accelarator pedal and wires going to solenoid from pedal.
Check voltage at solenoid on small wires. If you have voltage there solenoid will probably be bad.

There are several single connectors wires around the solenoid make sure they are all plugged in.

and if you don't think it anything electrical, and it cranks, then its fuel probably.

sounds like electrical though, a falty part, or a bad connection...
