![]() I was having trouble with lights on the cart and was messing with wires. Decided just to rewire lights separately and was done. Then I went to drive cart and now it only goes in reverse. If switch is in either position the reverse beep comes on and only goes backwards. Is there anything to test or did I fry the controller?

![]() The stock PDS controller (Curtis 1206MX) defaults to Forward and has to be told to do Reverse by putting pack voltage (38.2V when fully charged) on J1 Pin-2.
So check for voltage on J1 Pin-2 when F/R rocker switch is in FWD. If it is 0V, than the controller is bad. Replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400-PDS (or larger), which is user programmable. https://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltrax-xct-sepex--.html |

![]() Thank you it was zero on that pin so I guess controller is fried. Is there a way to check my setup before I put a new one in to make sure it doesn't get fried again. I think everything is back in correct place, except there are 2 blue wires at the key switch. Does it matter which one goes on each side? if so how do I check it?
