FWD/REV direction selector switch options

I have a manual FWD/REV handle under the seat, but I also have a FWD/REV switch on the dash? Can anyone explain whats the purpose of having 2 selectors?

You might have to post a picture of under the seat. I haven’t heard of that before. Does the lever beneath your legs connect to a rod under the seat that activates a cam mechanism with 4 large cables hooked to it?

the first question is do both of them work?

obviously this was a mod that a previous owner did.....I am guessing your cart is a DCS drive system.....and was modified by adding the switch on the dash.

So ive traced and labeled all wires, it appears that the last owner to work on it used the available FWD/REV switch on the dash to powerup the acc power supply. So that switch was just a mind tease.

and by looking at the pictures you provided, you have a SERIES drive cart.....its obvious from the rotary F&R switch in the first picture.
