![]() When you replace the stock air filter with a cone style filter such as K&N or UNI, do you need to rejet the carb on a stock motor?
![]() Which jet would you use if it needs to be replaced? If you have a link for the jet, please send it too. Thanks! ![]() |

![]() I cannot post exact power improvements such as gps or anything, but I did pick up seatof the pants power. I can now take my buddies same ez-go by 1.5-2 cart lengths. I have the rcc uni kit and there pipe. IT IS LOUDER, be aware if you use around the neighbor hood you could have some pissed-off neighbors. I think it sounds good. In another post you commented you are slower on take off with the 28 degree driven, I also noticed the same result. I think it is because it does not shift up as fast, which helps on the hills.

![]() Sorry to hear that. What size is the stock jet? If you are to lean you will be low on power, try pulling the choke a little and see if it runs better. If it does, you need a bigger jet.

![]() Is yours a 2004 or newer ? They use the smaller 13mm carb with a #82 main. The air flow increase isn't quite enough to go to an #88, 84 sounds optimal for you
![]() Also, did you bump up your govenor? Bob |
