Briggs asked that we stopped our kits at 23 HP so we do not carry parts for the 35

Just out of curiosity is this because they are worried about liability issues, or is there some other reason?

Hey chevy II the roller rockers fit from the smaller engine (18hp-23hp)
not only due they have roller tips they also have I believe more ratio 1:52
there are cams available for your engine. Also if you are running your engines above run idle 3650-3800 RPM's it's agood idea that you remove the governor
from inside the motor. I have repaired some of the 18-23hp engines that the governor had come apart..

On the 25hp thru 35hp the governor runs on its own shaft so you remove the engine cover and take the governor out, there's a governor control rod that looks like a hockey stick that is in the engine cover just remove and cut
it off above the radius then reinstall..

Cartspartsplus.com has cams, head gaskets and rev kits!!!
Performance V-twins has roller rockers and longrod kits !!!!!

These two places should help you get that 18hp buzzing right along!!!!
