![]() I am am looking at converting my 36v 1999 EZGo to a 48V. I am new to the golf cart thing so.... what all will I have to get and where is going to be the cheapest place to get it?
Batteries, 48v charger, etc....... |

![]() If you are new to this, you might want to consider simply buying a 48v cart. I just finished my 4th cart which was a 2002 TXT stretch and 36 to 48v conversion. All total, controller, solenoid, wires, battery meter, etc. I spent in the neighborhood of $1500. Good luck on your conversion and remember "speed is money...how fast do ya wanna go".

![]() Well i dont want to buy a new cart. I have one and was going to replace the 36v batteries. then i started pondering about maybe goin to a 48v.

![]() I have a 1998 TXT series, and once my batteries bit the dust, I went to 48 volts. ScottyB has the stuff you need. I spent about $1,800 for eight T-105s, Alltrax 4855, HD solenoid, 2 gauge battery cables, Alltrax Ex-Ray, 48 volt charger.
