G19e.... reverse but no forward
I put a fresh charge on the batteries last night, and then went to drive it. When I went to put it in forward I did not hear a click sound but when I put it in reverse it would drive. Seems odd. New problem. Never happened before. Any suggestions? I bought a new motor and controller to upgrade for lift kit. But I'd like to figure out the problem before I go installing this.

The controller has an input for forward And reverse (some carts dont), I would be suspecting the f&r switch. Easy to test f&r switch, the outer wires on back of switch are f & R, the center wire is the supply power

I have a new f&r switch. This afternoon I decided to gut the cart entirely. Going to build a new battery tray that sits 2" lower. Have it powder coated and a new 4 link rear end as well. Do you know how many amp the forward and reverse switch is rated for? I bought an aftermarket lighted rocker switch. I guess it's possible this is the issue. After installing a LT kit, I've been waiting for something to go bad.

The G19 f&r carries no appreciable amperage, it's just a signal. Just about any SPDT switch could do the job.

Check for power to pin 4 at controller, it's the "F" wire from f&r.

Guess I should have said pin 4 at the controller plug. Nothing to do with "item number 4" reverse buzzer.
