Default Handheld Programmer For Curtis Controller

I just purchased a 500A Curtis controller (SEP EX 76-126 and I would like to know if there is a handheld programmer or a “on the fly” switch setup with different presets available?

Thanks!

Yes, there is a programmer, but it isn't cheap. And the controller is capable of a mode switch, the question is "is the software installed set up for 2 modes?", Some are, some aren't.

Yes, I have a dual mode switch for high speed or low torque

The handheld programmer is not setup for use by the average end user, it doesn't have a UI that the average end-user would enjoy. It's made as a diagnostic/programming tool, not intended for permanent installation for OTF programming.

Sounds like the handheld might be my only option with that Curtis controller then..?

How do I adjust my peramitors within mode “1” and “2” switch connected to controller?

I wish that were an easy answer. Everyone who sells those controllers puts different software in them, from the OEMs, to the aftermarket suppliers, to the rebuilders. The menus provided will look different with each. And then there is the issue of "access level", a "level 1" handheld programmer will show minimal stuff, while a "level 4" handheld shows much more. What each level handheld shows will vary by how the supplier had their unique software written. This is what I was alluding to when i said it wasn't friendly to the end user (golf cart owner).
