Nope, different throttle type. PDS uses "inductive throttle sensor", G22 uses "0-5k ohm" potentiometer type throttle. They are not interchangeable. Nor can the controller be easily reprogrammed to deal with it.

Thanks for all the help cgtech!!! One more question. I am going to order the alltrax controller, but I think I am going to go with the 400 amp version. The guy that had the golf cart previously told me that I had a "high speed motor". I think he was full of it, but can you verify that this is a stock motor?

It is a GE Motors motor with the model number: 5BC49JB1144. 48v shunt motor. So if I get the XCT-48400-G19, it would control this motor correct?

Thanks again!

I believe it is a aftermarket motor. And that means the field map has to be changed to suit the motor. I bet that if you ordered the controller from ScottyB (www.cartsunlimited.net), he probably would change that for you. If not, you can do it yourself pretty easily with a PC computer/laptop and a USB cable, with the file needed being provided by Alltrax (if you call them, they would email the file to you, and explain how to install the file).
