Default Jet size for G2 when running cone filter.

Does anyone off hand remember what size the main jet needs drilled out to when running a cone filter on a G2? It’s been about 15 years since I drilled my carb and just had to replace with an aftermarket and jets don’t cross from old carb to new carb. I wanna say it was .035 but can someone verify? Thanks.

what the heck kinda carb did you get that the jets wont swap out. Im assuming since you drilled it out you could take your old jet and see which carb bit fits in it. wish I could help more

I just ordered a cheapo amazon carb for $19. Jets are smaller diameter than stock. However since posting this originally I installed new carb and it seems to run even better than when I had the old drilled carb on. So who knows. Not rly concerned with it cause I’m probably throwing a predator V twin at it over winter. Just needed to limp this anemic little single cyl the rest of the summer lol

Hi Gary, back in the day we opened to .042 if I remember right. Just FYI that new carb is total crap! DO NOT get rid of the original carb, it can be repaired.

Yeah I know, like I said I don’t expect to have this motor in much longer. Finally found some time to mess around with this cart and would like to predator swap it. Those motors are **** good for the money. I will say for $19 the cart runs really good tho lol

When they’re lean, they’re mean.
