12 volt ground?
Chassis ground is 48 volt?
So for 12 volt ground : The black (-) side of the test light to the ground wire on the 12 volt output on the voltage reducer. When troubleshooting my 12 v blinkers. |

Unless there is something peculiar to your Yamaha I don't know about, nothing should be grounded to the chassis. You will pick up your 12v - from the reducer, or a fuse box or negative block from it.

I don’t understand the question much but like Mooncarter said, don’t ground anything to the frame on an electric cart!
