Default 2007 Yamaha G29 modified

Modified air box, Gboost springs and belt, jetted carb to .043”. Checked valve clearance and compression. Bypassed govoner by linking pedal cable to carb cable. Verified full throttle at butterfly. Still no mid range power. Stock ezgo pulls away especially on an incline.
Top end great but can’t handle a hill. Any ideas????

You put spring in both the primary and secondary ? What size tires ? You have a performance air filter?

I got the 2007 - 2012 YDR Extreme Lifted Performance Kit from Plowmans and I raced a 2001 Ezgo with same tires as me 23” along with having clutch set up with 28 degree cam and I instantly jumped and cart off the line and kept on pulling up to my top speed of 32 mph 4200rpm! He topped out around 29 to 30 mph at 4800 rpm.

Appears to be a compression issue. TDC on compression stroke. Fair amount of blow by to the crank. From what I’ve read the lean factory setup is hard on top end. Have 135 on a cold engine. Going to retest hot see if it’s better or worse
