Re: G9 ongoing build
Clafor, had a 23 Horse Briggs in it when I bought it from a member here "yamahaG9ner". Runs good. I even twisted an axle in half once

Re: G9 ongoing build
I took a look at your thread for the big block install on your G9.......Nice, you won't regret it. I can go about 35 maybe 40 mph but I don't have the high rev kit installed so I don't let it go above 3800 or so. By the way, love the color on your cart, and tell your friend if he really wants to redeem himself on your paint job (looks fine to me) he can paint mine. I'll even pay for the materials and beer

Re: G9 ongoing build
Powder coated and installed the bumper today, thumbs up to my employer for having a 4' oven I also decided to throw on a winch I had laying around. Wasn't to sure about the winch at first but I think it looks good, kinda goes with the lifted off road look. Next is the flares, rockers, and some diamond plate here and there. I'm also considering a set of nice fogs on the front to go with the new bumper if anyone has any recommendations.

Re: G9 ongoing build
Looks great man! Nice job. I don't know what you could use for lights. Put some H.I.D.'s on it. You don't see that on many carts.

Spencer I have been looking in to the H.I.D's but they are not cheap. Not sure what I'll use at this point. I got my diamond plate in, going to work on the rockers a bit today |

Re: G9 ongoing build
Culo, I put Harbor Freight, K C knock offs, on mine. They are 6" double rubber insulated, 55 watt halogen off road lights. Work very well for 30 mph. $15. a piece.

Re: G9 ongoing build
You are right about that, H.I.D.'s are not cheap at all. Don't forget if you want to stay street legal technically, at least in MI, you have to have low and high beam headlights. I really don't think anyone would hassle you much, but who knows. Stupid laws anyways.
