Ok that's even easier then. Run the kill wire straight to the coil and not to the limiter at all

O.K.... look at the pic...

#22 is your rev limiter that you "snipped" the ground on,
find, and "snip" the other wire coming out of it, tape both ends up, and it's completely out of the loop!

I, personally don't like the idea of "cutting" wires, and IMO, just removing the ground should be good enough,
(it just makes it that much harder to hook back up in the event you want it hooked back up!)

What I couldn't understand during these two pages is why the first response to your question wasn't,

"Return it to where you got it repaired and politely ask them to fix it."

Glad you got it worked out.

Yes, it does have all of the wires, and yes, you could just go buy a new one,
but it's not a $20.00 part, it's to my understanding they cost around $200.00,
if you know for sure yours is bad, then do what you have to do to bypass it, or get a new one.

but, If your cart is running like it should now because of a bad coil, why cut the wire on your existing good limiter,
then later, spend a good chunk of money on a new one?

If the limiter is good, leave it alone... if it's bad, do what you have to do...
