Default Testing Oil inj pump

If I was to spin the Injection pump with a cordless drill how much oil should come out the banjo fitting?

I can't answer your question but if you THINK you have a pump problem I would use a premix and get rid of the pump.Your engine is on DEATH ROW without oil. Mix at 128:1 or 1oz per gal. Simple conversion

what racin said. most engine failures are due to a bad pump and you never know until it is too late. just pull and plug the line at the carb, then pull the pump and tank and deep six them. on the carb you can use a small metric bolt to plug the hole in the manifold.

To test the pump:
- Locate the pump fitting on the fan cowling. Remove the two bolts and nut holding it on.
- Remove the linkages, and put them aside for later as the ends can be reused
- Pull off the line to the banjo bolt, and remove the bolt, replacing it with a M6 bolt
- Remove the tank
- Now take the tank, pump assembly, banjo bolt and assorted hoses, and throw in the garbage can

After doing this, add oil to the gas at 1oz. to 1 gal.

This test is guaranteed to ensure that your oil injection system is providing an adequate amount of oil to the cylinder.

If you don't follow this test completely, then this will be the inevitable result:
