2000 EZ-Go newbie question

Thanks for the advice. The tires that on the cart are brand new, and I'm not sure I want to drop another pile of $$ into the tires and wheels just yet.

I've taken some pictures of the lift kit/suspension, in the hopes that someone will be able to see any possible issues and maybe tell me what type of shock to get for it. Also, I'm not sure what kind of lift this is, so any guidance would be appreciated.

I would get the parts from shopezgo.com, these are the part number and quantity you need.

You can also get new shock bushings if you want, but the ones on your cart look decent.

Thanks! I actually talked with Jason at JGC, and he suggested the same. Just got some HD springs for the rear. Can't wait to see if they work!

OK. Found the main problem! The thingy that's attached to the whatchamacallit was loose (as pictured). Without the ability to use a impact wrench w/ wobble socket to tighten it, the job wasn't easy. But with some redneck engineering, I got it snugged back up with a couple of vice grips.

It still leans a bit more than I would like, but no more darting back and forth when traveling in a straight line. I just ordered some HD leaf springs for the worn out standard ones in the rear.

Which springs did you order?

Thanks! I ended up going with the 3-leaf HD springs for the rear. I actually watched my wife drive it around and every time she turned left, the rear leaf sacked out. Even the right one was straight on the right turns. They are obviously shot.

Look forward to seeing if there is a difference once the new ones get here.

I just ordered 3 leaf HD springs this morning as well. I should have them by early next week.

Finally got two new ISO bushings...apparently there's only one place that has them in stock (and not on back ordered until April 2012).

Now that everything is done, the cart drives SOOOOO much better! It was VERY difficult to get the lift kit back on with the thicker HD springs, but I managed...I think I may need some longer bolts, though.

My next project will be to either paint it, wrap it, or rhino line it.
