Thats a cool setup now I will have to pull out the manual on my Yamaha and see where I can hook mine up to. I've had a triple set sitting on a shelf for about a year so now the search is on

I have been doing some reading and I suspect that the oil ports on the filter assembly might be 1/8 inch BSPT (British Standard Pipe - Taper) which is a metric thread. However, it would be nice to get a confirmation of this from someone who knows for certain. Since these engines are all metric, it would make sense.
Adapters from 1/8 BSPT male to 1/8 NPT female are fairly common and readily available on the internet. They are sold for connecting oil pressure gauges to metric engines which leads me to believe this is the case. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks, Ed |
