Fender flares for 1992 DS
We have a 1992 Club Car DS at work that we just restored with new paint and upholstery. Turned out great, looks brand new. In the process, we removed the small rubber fender flares for the rear tires. Old ones were cracked and worn out, so they're trash. I'm looking for replacement options.
I know they make the large flares for the 1993 and newer DS, but I can't seem to find any definitive answers on weather or not they'll fit our 1992 body. I'm willing to try if someone can offer some opinions. Surely someone out there has tried. Also, changing the older body to the newer one just to get the newer flares isn't an option. If that's out of the question, is there any place to buy the replacement rubber flares? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks gents. |

Re: Fender flares for 1992 DS
I have a 91 DS and just ordered some of the larger 4x4 looking flares yesterday. Should be in by Wednesday. The description said they would fit older carts with some slight modification. I'll report back after I play with them!

Re: Fender flares for 1992 DS
I ended up getting a newer body. I did look at the fitment against the old body though, and it looked like it would be slightly harder to drill the holes because of the fact that the older body is flat and the fender flares are contoured to fit the newer flare around the rear fender. A steady hand and a sharp drill bit should make it no problem, IMO.
