As Krazymatt said, we need to get inside the electric box, its under the air cleaner box next to the battery and next to the frame, take the top off that box and look very closely at the two micro switches in there, they are at the front of the box, compair the wireing to a diagram, also theres a lever that opens and closes those switches, you should hear both switches click when you step on the gas pedal, and hear two clicks when the switches close, one click for each switch, one switch activates the starter the other turns on the spark plug, keep us posted. One of those switches will cause your problem.

I will check the electrical box and the switches tonight. I don't feel it's the carb linkage or the gas pedal.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep you posted as to what I find. |
