CarryAll 252 info
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what lift kit size is standard on the CarryAll 252 cart. I have three CarryAll Turf II's (all year 2000 and gasoline FE350's) in various conditions and I am in the process of reworking all the carts to put them back into good working order. Since there are three, I was going to have one refurbished to stock form for around the house and yard, one in the equivalent form of a CarryAll 252 for general off-road work around the farm, and the third in an all out jacked up form for use in the woods. So, I'm now trying to figure out what size lift kit (3, 4, or 6 inch) and style (spindle or A type) that Club Car uses on the 252. I believe they use a 22X11.00-10 tire and rim combination. Also, does anyone know if there are other modifications that Club Car incorporates into the 252 above and beyond a standard Turf II? Is the gearing stock? Thanks for all the feedback. |

Re: CarryAll 252 info
It's to my understanding that Club Car only used a 4" Z lift from the factory. (see pic below)
The FE350 engine was an "upgrade" to the FE290 from standard carts, so it could perform better with it's maintenance duties! There really wasn't any other major differences compared to other carts due to manufacturing limitations. (The 272 however, had some add-ons!) |
