Welcome to BGW!

Have you checked all of the easy things like loose wires/connections, loose cable ends, clean air filter, fuel filter??

Just a thought in addition to TNG's, I had the spark plug on mine go bad and manifest similar conditions. It was sparking through the body of the plug.
Pick up a plug and take it with you, they're cheap.

I had the same thing the other nite on our 16'.It ran fine Sunday,Monday my Wife went out,and it barely made it across the yard,it was just chugging along.Plug was dark sooty black.Ended up being the air-filter was plugged solid with mud/water(Oops!!!).Pulled the filter and it fired up perfect.Wash the foam pre-cleaner and wring it out, then replace or blow-out the paper filter if it isn't horrible.Hope this helps.
