Default Two Fuel Filters G9

Probably dumb question but, I put an inline filter between the fuel pump & carb. As you all know there's also a filter on the bottom of the gas tank ahead of the line going to the fuel pump. Is this any kind of a problem other than a little overkill?
Thanks
JP

I ran my G9 that way with no governor for over 10yr. The stock filter is huge and rarely plugs up but I like to see the fuel move in there. I put a clone in it now and new lines, not sure I put the filter back in will have to look.

Honestly can't see where it would do any harm but, these Yammys seem a little finicky when you messing with the stock setup so just thought I'd check with some guys with a lot more experience. Thanks "305"

We do it all the time on G2 thru G8 cars with the filter in the tank. You can see the gas flow and keep all that junk out of the carberator

Is there a normal operating temperature for a G9?

I played a few holes this evening then came home about 200 yards from the course and just for kicks borrowed the wife's cooking thermometer and layed it down between the valve cover and carb=about 225 degrees but, it did have a minute or two to cool down while I sneaked the thermometer out of the kitchen.
Just feels a little hot to me.
Thanks
JP
