G9 Carb problems
Greetings, cart starts strong and then stalls out as if it's starved for gas. Compression is 170psi and spark is great. Fuel pump was replaced and is pumping strong and the pulse pump system is functioning properly. The carb was replaced a year ago with a Mukuni Yamaha oem. So I thought the carb may be gummed up or something and tore it down. It was clean as a whistle, but I noticed that the needle doesn't have a spring clip that usually attaches to the float. I checked the G9 carb diagram and it shows this clip which is typical. Is this a new and approved carb that eliminates this spring clip??? Does anyone know the proper float height?? I checked the Mukuni website and it doesn't even show golf cart carbs.
Thanks |
