Default 09 precedent in a panic

Went out this evening to plug in charger to go shoot tomorrow. Charger will not kick on. Turned key on no nothing. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

09 48volt precedent motor and controller are stock.

Check the package voltage, it sounds like it is too low for anything to work.

18 volts across the pack? If that is the case the batteries are too low to make the golf cart charger kick on. Here's how to solve that. You will want to take a regular car battery charger, unhook each battery so they are not connected, TO ANYTHING! Then take the car charger and hook it up to each golf cart battery individually until you have about 12 volts in each battery. Then re-connect all the batteries again and plug in your golf cart charger. The charger should come on and charge your cart.

If they are 8v batteries, charge 2 at the time with a car charger.
That will get you up to about 42v, which will be enough for the powerdrive to come on.
The only way I can think they got so low is if you have perpetual load draining them.
Also, make sure the water level is above the plates before charging, but don't fill them until after the full charge with the powerdrive charger.

I'm sorry. When I thought Precedent, I thought 12v batteries, not 8v

You can leave the batteries connected while you charge them individually. Put it in tow
