1991 EZGO XT-500 Turf Cart (Marathon) stopped moving
My cart stopped functioning, I have replaced the F/R switch and also pretty sure the solenoid is functioning properly. All contacts have been cleaned.
I've been trying to follow the diagnostic sticky, but I don't have a six-pin connector on my controller, I have two pins from the pot box (which was replaced about 2-3 years ago) and a third pin that goes to the same micro switch that also activates the solenoid. I have 0 volts at controller M- B+ with pedal depressed. Not sure where to go from here to test. Thank you! |

Is it clicking when you try to go? |

It clicks and B+ B- on controller have pack voltage when solenoid actuates.

Ay ideas where to look next? The troubleshooting stickies are for different controllers - mine has three pins, not six or 10. Two pins connect to throttle pot.

I see I was testing the wrong outputs. Looks like B- M- give voltage, and do not drop when given throttle. So, it looks like controller failure per other threads I've been looking though?
If that is so, is this a good choice of controller for replacement, or should I try something else. |
