Thanks all for reviewing. We have double and triple checked and new batteries are here.

Just one last question -- trying to figure out fuse on main + terminal. Old setup didn't have this fuse. Based on what I can see online, the U shaped end goes on battery post and the ] shape attaches to the wire 2 from solenoid.

I have a picture and just wanted to confirm that it is correct before hooking main negative and powering her up tonight. I used a small post to attach the 2G wire to the ] side and wanted to just verify.

I hope this thread, photos and comments will be a valuable resource for others.

Thanks in advance.

The fuse is not directional. It can be installed whichever way is easier and more secure.

I am inclined to put the fork end on the battery post and the hook end to the cable with the cable routed away from the opening.

It doesn't matter much where the fuse goes, but it's generally better to not have it directly on the battery post. Batteries get corrosion and that can ruin the fuse.
You can install it on the battery positive side of the solenoid if you have room, or it can go on the B+ or even B- terminal on the controller if there is room for it.

Another option is to make 2 shorter cables and install the fuse in an insulated fuse holder. https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Sea-Syst...4966777&sr=8-2

What Fairtax said makes sense. I never had corrosion on my LA batteries and certainly don't on my LFP battery, but it is worth keeping an eye on it for corrosion.

(I never had an issue with corrosion due to my meticulous preventive maintenance.)

I hope the ride was the greatest!

Hello everyone.

Wow what an upgrade (PQ Bandit, T875, 2G wires, Alltrax)! It's so darn satisfying to DIY + all the great folks on this site.

I'm just posting the last couple pictures in case others will find this information useful in the future.

hmm now what to do next....??
