2017 Drive2 EFI Check Engine light stays on all the time.....
I just had motor reworked and new low oil sensor installed but the light stays on all the time. When you unplug low oil sensor wire the light goes off. As soon as you plug it back in it's back on. There is plenty of new oil in engine. Any clues? Thanks in advance for any responses!

After a good road test does the light remain off?

No it's on all the time. I called the rebuild shop and they said the low oil sensor is not reliable and to unplug it and check the oil regularly and you will be fine. They said there is a float on it and if any sludge gets in it it will stick and they said it is really hard to get in there and clean it out.
